Lioncourt Strategic Land has submitted a planning application for up to 700 homes
Lioncourt Strategic Land has submitted a planning application for up to 700 homes, an extra care development of up to 70 units, a local centre, primary school, sports field and open space. The site amounts to 34.6 hectares (85 acres) of land to the east of the Oxfordshire village of Kingston Bagpuize. Kingston Bagpuize has a thriving local community with a good range of facilities situated in the village, along with excellent transport links to Oxford. The planning application also proposes a relief road that will connect the A420 Oxford Road with the A415 Abingdon Road, to relieve traffic running through the centre of the village. The planning application was submitted following detailed pre-application discussions with Vale of White Horse District Council, Oxfordshire County Council, the local Parish Councils and wider community. These discussions culminated in the land being proposed by Vale of White Horse for housing development in the emerging Vale of White Horse District Council Local Plan Part 2
