We have a record of delivering planning permissions to the open market that have resulted in land sales to a range of housebuilders, including Taylor Wimpey, Bellway Homes, Bovis Homes and Rooftop Housing Association.

Upon achieving grant of planning permission, our normal approach is to jointly instruct a selling agent with the landowners to market the site on the open market. This ensures that the sales process is efficient, open and transparent.

We understand the importance of ensuring the planning permissions we deliver to the open market are supported by clear, robust technical and environmental information, and are informed by the needs of the end user.

As we have access to the full range of expertise of our Lioncourt Homes colleagues, we are able to ensure the schemes we create are tailored to meet the housebuilder’s requirements, from initial engineering design to sales specific requirements. This is particularly beneficial in relation to:

  • The phasing of development parcels, for example, where a scheme could be delivered by multiple end users
  • Scheme layout design and parameters
  • Scheme infrastructure such as highway and drainage requirements
  • Section 106 obligations
